This was my first thought for making a stand. I'm just trying to find the right components so it actually holds the charger in place like the stands you can buy, plus I want it to be smooth and all the pieces matching (going to be tough as I don't really want to break up and of my sets). Maybe I could adapt my Lego R2 D2 to become a charging stand somehow as that already sits on my bedside table.

I want to use all matching pieces too, but then they would have been REALLY mad.

The round piece holding the AW charger is from a fan/turbine housing from a TMNT set. I did cut a small notch so it could lay flush.

I am so doing this! My kids are out of the Lego phase by a long shot, but we still have them around, and I'm sure I can find enough matching ones!

Hopefully I have time tonight to do it...

I bow to the Master, that stand is great, I made one out of wood and one out of aluminum but they don't have half the style of yours... great job:D

For those who would like to make a LEGO stand, you may put a little man at there to manage the cable, they hold it very well. :D

Is this a 16x20 base? It looks like it is, I'm trying to line up my pieces and build in "compartments" so the cords can roll up out of sight :p

Old thread but I see this bubbled up to the top again. Nice idea, I may have to go and do something like that. :D

Builded this with my kid, it's really a fun project, and I am very happy with the result as well.
