Ok guys, once in a while i pop in the Starcraft CD when im free. I have a 800mhz G4 iBook, RoadRunner, and a NetGear wireless router. I noticed, my latency has always kinda sucked but i also noticed that my latency REALLY sucks as of recently. What factors would affect my latency?

Mostly your internet connection. If you are on wireless then try switching to a wired connection. You will probably see a very slight drop in latency (especially if you have WEP or similar turned on).

The other issue could be port forwarding. If Starcraft needs to communicate on a certain port and you don't have those forwarded to your Mac then it would slow things down a lot. Google for the ports and open them in your router.
