Before you scoff at these pics, this stand was thought and made by a 12-year old. I just wanted to share and get opinions! 🙂

It was designed for the iPhone, but ended up fitting the iPad better! However it is compatible with all iPhones, iPod touches, iPads and iPod Classics. The nano slips through the charging port! Anyway, pics:

Hey, I'm glad you all like it 😀 (I'm the one who made it here!)

I made it at school using a laser etcher and bending some acrylic. The font is Myriad Pro 😀

I think I'm gonna make a black one next year. And fix some faults, like the charging port is too big and the cable doesn't fit.
 
I like the idea/design and think you should take it to a professional fabricator and make 1,000 of them and throw up a website, etsy or eBay store and see how sales go. Might have to ask your parents for a small loan though but the payoff could be huge! If you could get them made for say $5/each and sell them for $30/each you're looking at a potential profit of $25K. You would of course need to deduct website/store/misc fees.

that's pretty legit! If you could put LEDs behind the "iRest" text and make them change colours in sync to music or something...THAT'd be awesome. But that's just an idea 😛

Lol I quickly asked a couple of fabricators if they could do this, awaiting response 😀
 
There weren't any burn marks when I took it out, don't know why, special type of acrylic?

@ScubaCinci: I was at a friends house so I quickly snapped some with my iP4… may have to figure out how to use the flash properly 😀
 
That's sweet. It's like a cookbook holder kinda! LOL.

Do you think it would work better if it leaned back a bit more?
