So yesterday afternoon I was on my cell phone when I gf came in and got that dog all excited...all the sudden the dog yanks my i book off my desk and it crashes onto the end of the seat.
:mad:Of course I almost start to cry and when i open the notebook i can already see that the screen is pushed in an cracked and I have the spiderweb crack all over it?

What do I do now?

Is it worth it to repair, who would I even take the notebook to?

Please help...

What kind of machine is (was) this? How old?
If you're technically savvy, you could probably buy an LCD panel online and replace it yourself. Otherwise, a trip to the Apple store (or shipment to the repair depot) is in your future. It'll be expensive most likely, so you'll have to decide if its more effective to replace the machine entirely. Also, check your home owners/renters insurance. You might be covered, at least partially, which could help as laptop LCD repairs are often 50% the price of a new machine.
