My LCD screen is crooked. Will its touch abilities be affected?

the top left border is a pixel or two lower than the top right. And the bottom right border is a pixel or two higher than the left. What I mean is the screen is turned ever so slightly counter-clockwise. Will this make the touch sensitivity a little off? Or is the touch sensor area synced with the viewable LCD screen?

The difference - if there is any - will be negligible.

I have a similar problem on my MacBook, even though that isn't controlled by touch :p
