Thanks; My replacement unit is going to arrive next Tuesday, might try taking it to the Apple Store if the screen is bad again. Hope I don't have to though :)
 
Replacement arrived early on Monday and it's flawless. Phew!
Well done and lucky you! I wish I had spotted mine in the return window phase. Still considering whether it's worth taking in to Apple for them to consider a repair? Machine is only 4 months old.
 
I sent mine back to the authorised reseller a week ago now and still haven't heard anything from them!
Chased them up but nothing. Surely it doesnt take a 'Technician team' to switch it on and see the screen? My 14 day window runs out today aswell, but seeing as they have it technically I've returned it?
 
I have this exact same issue...am trying to get it returned to the authorized reseller I got it from but they are requesting for a inspection proof from an authorised service provider. I guess I understand that they want to make sure I'm not lying but it is still quite upsetting and inconvenient that I have to bring it all the way to a store to get it checked and then the return/refund process still takes a long time. I tried asking for a replacement but they said they didn't offer one...such a disappointing experience. Maybe that's why it's better to get it from the Apple store directly. :"/

I attached some photos so you guys can see it too. Like someone else mentioned, it's not super visible or obvious at the first glance but if you stare at it long enough, it is quite annoying and definitely not something that should occur for a product that is quite costly.

Same issue here, got mine from the refurb store and I noticed it right away.

I’m still within return period, Apple Store told me to order a new one and return the old one so that’s what I did.

I’m picking it up tomorrow so I’ll let you guys know if the newer refurb has the same issue or not. Kinda worried it will tbh.
