My Mac Birthday!!!

Today is my 18th birthday (whoo!!) and guess what my parents got me for the occasion? A 23 INCH ACD!!!! It's beautiful!!! They thought since they were going to get me one for college in 6 mos, why not get it a little early?

It is a work of art! Now I just have to get my desk organized lol!!

What an amazing birthday present. It was my 23rd a few weeks back (surely a good omen for a 23" ACD - not that I could use it but hey, who cares about details) and what did I get? Socks and jocks. Seriously, socks and jocks.

Good on ya, hope you realise just how incredibly lucky you are to get such an awesome gift.

Haha, thanks everyone!! Yeah, this is DEFINITELY the best b-day present I've ever gotten...I truly wasn't it expecting it at all. I just got home from school (and yes, I thought about the ACD all day haha) but I will post pics. I may need to clean my desk off a bit, as I was in a mad rush to get my ACD set up and things are somewhat strewn about.

Thanks everyone again. This board rocks!

For those who have yet to get their driver's license...I guess 😛 I actually drive a golf cart to school, work, friends' houses, out to eat...a little quirk about my city .

From the pictures provided (and from mariahlullaby's signature), that would appear to be the case. But one never knows if there is a tucked away Mac Mini or Power Mac under the desk. 🙂 🙂

Cars!! Geeze, my folks are pretty wealthy but there's no way in hell they'd straight out buy me a car, especially as a birthday present. Nope, when I eventually need a car (next year probably when uni's over and I will probably be moving to Melbourne) it will be coming out of my pocket. I think a 23" ACD is an absolutely incredible gift to get, a car would probably make me pass out.
