My mac starts to go very slow and only the muse will go at its usual speed and the only action i can perform is move windows, i don't get any error messages, and it has been doing this for the past three days one per day, it all started when i went to my home folder and clicked arrange by< name the computer instantly began to do what i told u it does i have to restart my mac so it can run normally again .
I run a MacBook OS X 10.5 Leopard

Sounds like you experienced a kernel panic and have since experienced system slowness, am I right? Prior to that kernel panic, had you installed any new software, installed new RAM in the system, or attached any other sort of hardware? How long have you had the machine? Had you had any troubles with system responsiveness or crashing before?
 
You need to use the Disk Utility on the OS X DVD and Repair Permissions and Repair the Disc, it sounds like something is corrupted.
