my macbook air is lagging

i downloaded this OS because apple and fanboys alike (who attacked me even in an earlier mavericks article published by this site when i dared question why i should bother upgrading from ML) said that with the "advanced technologies" my computer could simulate nuclear blasts, calculate the extension of the universe and dance tango.


well, no.


it can't.


and it lags.

Same here...My 2012 Macbook Air is lagging quite horribly (horribly for a < 2 year old computer)

It runs like a champ on my wife's 2012 MBA. Mountain Lion was kind of choppy. Mavericks turned it into a new computer. I'm impressed.

Ugh I knew I had to get the 2013 version that came with Haswell and 128gb instead of the other 2013 version.

I was ill-advised at the store.

Avoid your Mac from Lagging

Solutions:-

- Defrag your Hard Disk
- Uninstall Junk Stuff Installed by Free Programs
- Delete User Preferences
- Clear your Cache
- Disable Startup Items
- Empty the Trash Folder Regularly
