I use my MacBook Air 2018 for presentations around the country. I find that 90% of the time, it plugs into the projector just fine. However, I often find that I'm presented with a black screen. The laptop recognises the display in settings and KeyNote switches to presentation mode but nothing appears on the screen!
It usually only happens when I'm hooking up to a video mixer or switching system. There is rarely an issue if the HDMI goes straight into the projector.
Any thoughts on how to solve this ongoing problem?
