Hello guys!
So today morning after I turned on my macbook and was about to start work, I noticed that one folder from my desktop was gone, with all the files in it. I cant find any of the files or the folder by using spotlight, nowhere to be found in finder, these were work files, so I even tried using data recovery software - no success. The same thing happened to me a few months ago, when my macbook decided to get rid of one of the desktop folders too.
What causes it? Is there a way to recover them? Its macbook pro 2017, high sierra.
Thanks
