My macbook hates aim

Everytime I log onto aim and try and instant message, aim always closes and I have to relaunch, several times everytime I use it. Has anyone else had this problem? Its very annoying, and I dont know how to fix it..
 
oh, I didn't know you could use your aim account on ichat, I'll have to give that a try, thanks
 
yeah ichat for the 1 ONE person i have to talk to on AIM.

yahoo for macs isnt too bad now they have voice call support.however voice in chat rooms,photoshare still doesn't work.

does adium have voice call support on yahoo?
 
I use AIM exclusively but Adium is the best IM program by far. I only use iChat for when my friends want to have a 3-way video chat. 😉
 
I would put another vote in for Adium. It's robust and frequently updated. It also supports plugins and multiple IM protocols.
 
can you use adium from video chat with people? like you can with ichat? And can you put all your friends from different chat clients on one buddy list?

I'm pretty sure you can't video chat, but I know you can talk with your Yahoo!, AIM, MSN and Gmail buddies (plus so much more) all at once! You really can't go wrong with Adium, in my opinion. Adiumx.com for more details. 🙂
