anyway to up this score?thought it would be better

just deom doing this test my macbook went up to 196deg!

when i get the new intel ssd 160 will this raise this score?

does anyone have a better test i can download?im new to macbooks and computer gaming sorry

a hard drive will not affect your score in 3DMark. that test is CPU & GPU dependent. that score is about right as the 9600 is not a very powerful graphics processor compared to many desktop PC options (which dominated the comparative scores you see at the end of the 3DMark test)

thanks

do you think i will harm the macbook by playing games for an hour or over when its almost 200 deg?

load smcfancontrol in os x. Up the fans then reboot to windows... that's what i do for games... as for the score, are you using the latest drivers (ie. not the ones supplied by Apple)

How hot does urs run with fans up?no i did not add video drivers thanks

it runs way cooler and I set the fans at the default high settings offered by smcfancontrol (4000rpm). You can make custom settings up to 6200rpm for both fans. The video runs much better with the newer drivers.

what drivers are you using? link perhaps?

I am actually using Dox´s Customized Forcewae 185.85 😉 You can also find them on that site. These drivers and the 185.75s are the only ones which can keep a steady clock rate, even when i unplug my ac cable. Anything other than that will reduce my clock when i unplug my ac cable...and then i cant really play any games without the ac 😉
Or does somebody know the solution to that problem ?

for the record, I decided to test myself.
