It happens that my MacBook Pro 2017' screen gets partly stuck. This happens either at random or when I open the lid too fast. My current fix when this happens is to almost close the lid, where at a certain degree it will unfreeze. Pictures below shows the problem, and this happens to the whole screen. Do anyone know why this happens and what a permanent fix is?

“Partly stuck” as in physically the display won’t raise or lower? Or do you mean the display image is frozen, i.e. cursor won’t move?

I can move everything on the screen, but as you can see on the second picture, there will be a half visible copy of what was on the screen when it got stuck. So the pc is fully functioning, but the display is always covered by this kind of copy of the screen

Could be a loose connection with the flex cable from GPU to screen, hence why moving the lid/hinge causes or resolves it.....

FlexGate...?
FlexGate is a backlight issue. This seems to be something more nefarious related to the GPU. Try changing your display resolution and see if the behavior manifests itself to a different area of the display, etc.
