hello,
My macbook pro is doing strange from 5months ago.
1ste there was one dead pixel line after a few days 3 and now they are all dead.
So I use another screens.
It worked fine but then my computer crashed and I couldn't do anything.
So I fixed the problem to reïnstall all the software. (All my work and expensive programs where gone.)
But it worked fine again. but now after a week it crashed again.
I can start it op but it doesn't go any further then the mac log "".
Does anyone now how I can fix the problem for good?
Or is it best to buy just a new one?🙁

Why haven't you taken it to a Apple Store or called up Apple?

Why haven't you taken it to a Apple Store or called up Apple?

It is the laptob from my friend.
She was tired of it and bought the newest ibook pro.
And if I can fix it somehow i can use the old one.
I already tried
to push :apple: + p + R but that doesn't work and i also tried to use C to reïnstall but that also doesn't work.

Anyone knows how to fix it?
And does the it has a resetbutton or something like that?
(its a Aluminum 17" * 1.0 - 1.67 GHz ) its kinda old.

thanks,
Bas
