my macs suddenly can't see my router

everything was working fine and then suddenly both my computers failed to see or connect to my AE. i even reset it with a new name and password and it doesn't even show up in the airport menu bar even though it has a green light.

You set up the password for the router but did you set up the name of the router? When you reset your router it should go back to the default name, for example "Linksys" not "Mywifi".

it did reset the name and i renamed it to something new. it wasn't working at all last night so i went to sleep and it's working now but i don't know how long that will last.
