My MBA Rev B 1.86 HDD has shipped!

Yes, NJ to be exact. I will keep you posted on the arrival. Hopefully it will arrive by Thanksgiving
After cut off means it will not leave till this time tomorrow, I have been through this 10 times No chance for Thursday if it leave tomorrow, it will not make it to Alaska till wens Night, Might sit Thursday,Friday, or Monday for sure

I placed my order for a rev b yesterday, and Apple said it's going to ship toy house on the 19th of Dec.
Apple had placed the order for me. I have the Rev A but when I sent it off for repairs in Texas, it came back damaged so they offered to replace it with the rev B. I had them upgrade to the 1.86. I don't know when they actually placed the order but I do know it was sometime around when the ssd's were released because they had originally told me I would be getting mine alot sooner but surprise surprise, it's been about three weeks now lol.
I'm guessing it may be easier to order online and hopefully if it happens to come while I'm away I'll still get it.
I just called the Irvine Spectrum again and was told they were in stock. As I was plotting my escape from work I called back because there was a way the girl formed her words that suggested she would be wrong.
Turns out my intuition was correct. The Irvine Spectrum Store does not have the base HDD model in stock, nor have they yet. This time I asked for a manager in hopes I would not be wasting my time.
/shrugs This may be where online prevails.
OP when you get yours I think benchmarks are in order!

Absolutely! Just let me know how and I will take care of it. My MBA Rev A was my first Mac so I'm still new to all of the hardware testing but if you let me know how to do it, I certainly will right when I open it. Hell, I'll even give you an unboxing video!

I haven't heard that but damn I hope it is true! How can I check? I only received a tracking number.
^^ It was actually stated on their order. It was as though their order was cancelled and replaced by apple with another order but for an SSD model at the same price.
More on benchmark testing when I get home.
I doubt I will be receiving the SSD model although I did call the guy I have been dealing with to confirm the specs. I left a message so I will let you know when he gets back to me.

Definitely! Now I have to correct my signature that says hdd. This has totally made my day as I asked only to upgrade the processor!
