My MBP 2011 Makes "Click" Sound When Moved

I'm guessing it's my HDD heads parking themselves when detecting motion, but
it's way too sensitive. Anyone have experience with this? Or could it be something else? Thanks...

It must've been the Sudden Motion Detector parking the heads.

I turned that feature off in Terminal and it doesn't make the sound anymore.

It's a judgment call - I am so sick of hearing it.

Yep, it's the SMS. Apple Portables: Hard drives and noise

It's not a good idea to turn it off, as it's there to protect your drive from damage due to impacts.

Apple suggests that you not modify the settings unless absolutely necessary.
