zign said:Seems to work. What does it do exactly? Does it make the fan run at 3500rpm all the time? Is it OK to run it all the time?
Rokem said:you got it. I think its safe to run them the fans at 3500 rpm all the time, after i while i will lower it to 3000 rpm cause it quiter and does just as well when the comp is cooled down. Whenever i leave it on my desk overnite or durring the day i rewrite to the default and let the comp manage it.
i beileve the default speeds are between 800-1200 rpm, but when you rewrite to the default value you don't write a speed, you just renable the automatic controler which gets its speeds from the appleblower file and the applefan file., or if you changed it with my old instructions, to that.

every time i restart the mbp i have to execute the script, and i want it to be automatic
