Every time I open a window(Safari, Mail, iTunes, etc.) it opens the window about an inch to the right(the red/yellow/green buttons are under "Safari" instead of the Apple logo. Its pretty annoying to keep moving it to the left every time I open a app.

    How do i fix this?

Doesn't it remember your window preferences if you move it/resize it? At least for resizing it does. I resized mine to take up all my horizontal space.

It remembers the size of my window, it just displays it an inch to the right. :(

Is your dock on the left side and hidden? Try putting it at the bottom. I just tried it and it shifted the position one inch to the right (so it doesn't remember placement, just size)

Looks like it. Try it and see for yourself :), the window should open in the top left hand corner if the dock's on the bottom.
