My MBP Just Shipped

My MBP just shipped via Fedex. The order status says "shipped on Feb 18 via Fedex" (even though it's currently Feb 17, so that must be China time). When I track the package, it's just in "package info transmitted" (or whatever) stage.

Until now, my order status had said it would ship on Feb 23.

I ordered the 1.83, and got upgraded to 2.0. I did NOT upgrade to 2.16. In fact, I've never called or had any other contact with apple other than placing the order, and checking order status from time to time.

It looks like only stock ones have shipped so far, and my was a CTO (custom)

It looks like only Stock 2ghz Configs Are going out now.

I ordered a Stock 1.83ghz and nothing has changed with it yet. Although an Apple Rep tonight told me it should go out by Monday 🙂

CTOs are shipping too...

At 10:26 PM Pacific on Feb 17th I received confirmation from Apple that my MBP 2.0 CTO that was ordered at 10:57 AM on 01/10/06 is shipping.

I haven't seen any reports of 1.83ghz Configs shipping, they better go out soon though! If the rep I spoke to yesterday was right she said they should go out on Monday. I'll call them today and find out if it's in Preparing Shipment yet.

I hope my 1.83 goes out soon! I guess the Apple announcement was right, the 2.0's this week (the END of the week) & the 1.83's next week (this monday...hoppefully). I can't wait to get my MacBook!! (Pro)
