I sent my MBP in for repairs for the following issues

1) Screen Pixels Burning out left and right, faster and faster
2) ugly ghostly lines on the screen
3) DVD/CD Drive not working whatsoever
4) Chassis (casing) damage due to regular usuage
5) CPU whine
6) Display Joints weakening more and more

They sent it back after a week and told me on the slip that:

"RETURN: CUSTOMER DECLINED REPAIR"
When in fact they never called me or contacted me at all. I sent it in for reapir, not to deline it. Then I call them up and they tell me they won't repair it becuase I spilled somthing on it. Which is false.

Oh and then online it says the repairs were completed.
See for yourself, Case number: xxxxxxxx , Postal code: yyyyy

That sucks! But at least you got yours back.

Mine has been "Repair in Progress" for 17 days now... for a defective 1394 port.

Have you called and ask what was going on?

Yea they said I spilled somthing on it, so they won't fix anything.
Funny. none of the problems i'm having relate to a spill.
That is even if I did spill somthing on it (which i'm 100% sure i did not)
I mean the only possibliity is that moisture got through the sleeve while I was carrying it in my backpack in the rain (I work outside.). But that is not a spill.
And again, I'm not haveing any problems do to a spill. A spill has nothing to do with any problems I have.
