Doesn't look like the newest Penryn model, just because the function keys are not changed around like they are now.
Anyone else notice that most of the mbp's gpu that's crapping out or having issues are the 2.2ghz model of the mbp with the nvidia 8600m gt cards 128mb vram version??

I had a similar problem a while back. It turned out to be caused by a small TV that was on my desk near my monitor.
Just take it to the apple store and if there is something wrong, I'm sure they'll replace your logic board under apple care.
