Hi,

I have an Early 2015 13" rMBP that won't sleep properly when I close the lid. It would lose 40% of the battery in about a day of standby. coconutBattery shows ~1.3W of battery usage as soon as I wake up, which is referring to the amount of power used while the lid was closed. So OS X is clearly not sleeping properly. I have no idea what app could be causing this. Any help on making sure when the laptop lid is closed, ZERO background tasks are to be done?

On Windows 10 bootcamp, this laptop has no problem sleeping without draining battery, so it's not a hardware problem.

Thanks

Hmmm I still lost 9% over 24 hours. I started with 100% charge, and I think 100%->99% takes a lot longer than subsequent 1% drops. It's a lot better than before, but still not great.

I'd power it off at night.

It sounds like something keeps "waking it up" while sleeping (using energy), or some process is "hanging on" and using power even with the lid closed...
