I make a lot of calls using FaceTime audio. Today, suddenly, no one can hear me. I have rebooted the M2 MacBook Pro but no difference. I have the correct input (and signal) in the Sounds settings, speech recognition works, and I can make calls with Telegram and Messenger. But it doesn't work with FaceTime. Any ideas what could be going on?
UPDATE: After speaking with Apple support, nothing they told me helped. I restarted multiple times ad ran First Aid etc to no avail. Eventually it started working again after I disconnected all my peripherals, including my external USB microphone, and used the Macbook Pro's built-in mic to make a call. When I re-attached the USB mic, it worked again.
