Received this today and very happy

Wanted to declutter my desk and move away from my Mac Mini and monitor etc; more so as I'm getting a new 15" M3 MBA for work too, that should land next week

Really impressed with the build quality and styling; it looks superb in silver too. Very clean

Just migrating it from my Mac Mini now

They are absolutely awesome computers. I went from a Mac mini to an iMac, and the one thing I noticed was the screen quality. The downside is once you use that iMac for a while it’ll make you picky when it comes to monitor quality.

I sold mine because even though it was awesome for what I do the MacBook Air was a better fit. I’m not much of a sit at a desk person.

The screen is superb. So sharp and blacks are black!

I mix it between my desk and the living room. More so when it's cold and I've lit the wood burner ;)

But when we're busy I'm in the office. More so with meetings etc...

I've trialled the MBA to the iMac today and it's great. It'll do just what I need it to for stuff like that for work

great looking machine. I'm thinking of getting the same colour. Just trying to decide if I want a BTO with 1TB/24GB with full size keyboard or if 512GB/24TB mini keyboard is sufficient.

To each their own but.... Silver is kinda boring 😬

Yellow, Green, or Orange are my front-runners. I'd just have to be sure to order it while my wife is busy 🤣 she'd be right there with you two and Silver.

I wanted green TBH but Amazon had a better deal on than Apple do and I got it via the x5 monthly payments so my CC wasn't smashed there & then etc :)

Been using an M1 iMac about 30 hrs/week for work for several years. It's been such a good machine, I decided to upgrade to the M4 version (green), which is apparently on the FedEx truck at this very moment. Bumped up the RAM to 24 GB this time, which I think will keep it moving very well.

It's an exceptional machine. Too bad they don't have Pro or Max SoC options. I always had an iMac, and this one is particularly compelling more than ever before, but the performance options are not enough for me.

I'm finding choosing a colour tricky, either yellow or blue at the minute. It was going to be pink until it changed. Hoping to see a few at the Battersea store this weekend.

I would go yellow! Blue is so common and kinda bland imo. Most people don't get yellow and orange. Orange is probably my favorite. The fact that it's a less common color also indicates higher resale value 20 years from now! Just look at the rare G3 iMac colors.
