I've found plenty of these adapters, but how did you mount it in the drive bay?

Because it's a solid state drive, it can be left hanging there. That's what I did. Mine's just floating around under the optical drive with some electrical tape covering up the exposed solder points to keep it from shorting if it happens to hit something.

"We created an aluminimum holding bracket for it after various trial and error methods. The shear amount of engineering we put into it was something we've quite honestly never done before. Aligning up the CompactFlash adapter's mounting holes with the iMac's hard disk drive mounting holes with such precision could have only been done by machining it out of a solid alumimimum block."

I like electrical tape and logic more.
