My new iMac keeps restarting (help...)

Finally did the complete switch from the "dark side".

Replaced two TOSHIBA laptops with two MacBooks and the DELL with an iMac.

The problem is my iMac will just randomly restart itself. I called support and they did some basic stuff but it is still happening. Trying to avoid having to take it into the Apple Store.

I run VISTA using VMware Fusion, but I doubt that has anything to do with it.

The last error message it gave me on the restart was:

Bring it back to Apple. You have a hardware problem and the machine is crashing.

If it is brand new (within 2 weeks), demand a new machine. Otherwise it will have to go in for repair.
