Turn off Bluetooth and WiFi. Do the suggested instructions on Battery App. Lower the brightness of the display.

Recharge and test it again.

Did you update to 11.4? Supposedly there’s a bug or something that’s causing it in 11.4 .
Yes, I updated to 11.4
but it was the same on 11.2.6

what can I do?

It depends on a lot of things. 8 plus has the best battery life out of all the iPhones ever released. So when you claim something drastic we need to understand why such things are happening before trying to help.

I have now 35% battery .
I used 3 hours WhatsApp only.
Are you on WiFi a lot? How's your cellular/mobile signal? Are you just texting on WhatsApp or doing videos, calls, and/or things of that nature as well?

Hey
yesterday I bought new iPhone 8 plus (IOS 11.3).
The battery draining fast.. Why?
I need to use with the iPhone and its will fix by himself?

Define "draining fast". Under what type of usage? Since new devices have to do a lot of indexes and such in the background when they are first set up, I would say that the battery life might not be typical for the first few cycles. If you bought it from Apple and therefore have 14 days to return, I would suggests just giving it a few days to see if there's improvement.

oh
its like that when the iPhone is new?
I need to see battery improve in few days?

I just bought a new 8+ on Sunday and battery life is excellent. Mine is also on 11.3. I'd say maybe give it up to three days, but if it is still poor after that I'd get a Genius appointment.

ok.
1. how many days do you think?
2. should I install 11.4? I have 11.3
3. when should I to charge the phone ? when its 30%?

thanks a lot
You left out important pieces of information.

Did you restore it as new or from a backup? Restoring from backup is likely the source of the poor battery life.

Yes, you should install 11.4 as it includes security and performance improvements. Charge your phone whenever you want, but don't let it reach 0%. That shortens the health of the battery over a long period of time of letting it always reaches 0%.

Chances are you are using the phone more than usual as you are setting things up and loading apps and checking things out here and there. First couple of days are probably somewhat different than typical days, so you want to give a few days and charging cycles as you start using the phone in a more typical way to see how the battery and everything else is performing.

How do you define draining fast? If you leave the phone sitting there with no background apps open, does the battery noticeably go down? Or are you watching tons of videos, playing games, and/or using social media all day? I can go all day with my phone because I don't use social media all day. I check my emails, message friends, and only watch the occasional video. If I play some games or watch a couple movies, I can't get the battery to last half a day.

1. A few days for indexing to complete.
2. Yes, install the latest iOS. This will make it index again but worth it.
3. I charge mine when sleeping.

How often are you having to charge your phone.
How much are you using it.

Here’s what’s going on: when you first install a major iOS update, two things happen that have a negative impact on battery life. First, you use your iPhone or iPad much more than you do normally because you want to check out all the new feature. Above average usage obviously leads to above average battery drain.

Beyond that, your device will need to re-index a huge amount of data when you first install iOS 10, such as contacts, photos and more. Pretty much anything that is searchable with Spotlight will need to be re-indexed. It all takes place in the background so many people are unaware that it’s even happening, but it does have an impact on battery life and it can take quite a bit of time for the process to complete.

So, long story short, don’t worry about it. The battery life on your iPhone or iPad might seem shorter at first but after a few days, you’ll be back to normal. In fact, you might even notice a slight increase in battery life.
