Bought this today via Amazon UK, as I was given a £1k tech voucher for work and had been toying with the idea of downsizing from my 15" MBA; simply due to the size and weight of it etc

My Mum & Dad need a new mac; their 2018 iMac has had it; so they're taking the 15" M4 MBA from me, it's more than adequate for their simple needs

It does feel much nicer to be back to a 13" MBA and thought I may as well for for the 24GB RAM / 1TB SSD version whilst I've got such a health downpayment etc 😉

Dan your serial number etc are showing in the photo - may net be best thing if any unscrupulous person wanted to do mischief with it ?

Danb1979, you’re born in 1979 i presume, just like me haha. Enjoy your new MBA it looks great, and love the spec. Just got mine couple of days ago myself in 15”, absolutely love it.

My thoughts as well. Most cases that would need to utilize that much ram, also would probably be taxing the fanless cpu as well and throttle it

I’m sure there are still some particular niche use cases that would benefit some. But for me I see it more as a bragging right than anything lol.

Well as my luck goes currently (which is crap due to my health niggles); the MBA has been sent back to Amazon 🤬

The screen was dim; turned auto dimming off; seemed to be fine, but then went dim again... And kept getting darker and darker...

Did a full reset; spoke to Apple Support etc - they just said send it back to Amazon; so I did yesterday... 😖

I've still got my 15" M4 MBA as my Mum has decided she'd rather have a desktop, so I went with her to Apple Trafford Centre this morning and sorted her with a green one...
