Intel seems very confident in 45nm when the chop their stock heatsinks in half from the 65nm ones.

I want a 45nm chip now!

That is outstanding to hear - a whisper quite Mac Pro. I'm not sure if this heat and fan reduction will translate to the portables, but I sure hope so.

I do hear the drive scratching away when it reads and writes, but have two Samsung F1's on the way, and if they are as quiet as billed, I will probably pull the 320 and put it in a case and attach it in the closet.
