I'm just happy to say that this is the first site I visited on my brand new Macbook that I'm using right now!:D

    So glad I didn't wait for the new updates/Leopard. I got a 2.0 Black Macbook C2D 1 GB Ram.
Thanks for all the advice/help people here have given me on making the purchase!

Gotta go install about 10 updates now!

    Oh come on!
    It's a secondary computer....or is it?;)
    Aahahahaha!

So, I'm getting used to the Blackbook already.
I really do not like the optical drive, though.

It's just nothing like my slot-loading iMac, which sucks in the disc and spits it out very smoothly. The Macbook, however, needs the disc to be pushed in manually. It feels like I'm forcing the disc in.

I'm letting the MacBook charge for now. After its charged, I will probably let my father mess with it, then drain the battery/full recharge it.

Also, the glossy screen looks like no other glossy screen I've seen before. Not as much glare, visible from all directions. :)

Congo Rats! It's a good thing you just went with it and are happily satisfied. I can't wait til I pull the trigger for myself, sigh. Enjoy!
