First off, it's not the newest model. I went with the MBP classic, just like the one that was taken from me a little over a month ago. It's really all I need for my work, so I didn't bother spending the extra cash for the newer-more-prettier model.
I did notice that I like the looks of the classic much better- I forgot how beautiful my machine was! Also... yes, I did order one with a matte screen.
I'm happy. My MBP woes are over. You can bet I'm buying lojack and every other anti-theft crap for this thing. I can't go through that trouble again.
