I just made my first ever rapidweaver theme. can someone tell me if it is any good? get it here
Is the site that you linked itself in that theme? FWIW the ultimate link I followed to getting the theme doesn't actually work.
the site i linked to is not in the deep sea theme. i just realised it didn't upload. just wait a few minutes
UPDATE: i have fixed the problem
c'mon. can someone have a look?
No, it still doesn't work.
If you want feedback on how it looks, can you just post some screenshots?
I can't find the download. If it's the light blue theme on your homepage, then I really like it! It's a subtle approach that would be useful for businesses. You might want to check some of your links because the pages are not rendering properly or 404'd:
Good work on the theme!
that isn't the theme. that is one that comes with rapidweaver, and i have no clue on why my site is doing that. here is a direct link to the theme - http://tominatedsoftware.pxlart.net/sw/files/deepsea.rwtheme.zip
BTW: you need rapidweaver
Ok, I downloaded it and played around a bit. Not bad! I like the colors and the simple layout. Yes, it does remind me of the sea. You should put up a live preview so others can see it (especially those that don't have RW). You may get more feedback that way on design elements.
thanks for the comments. i am in the process of putting up a preview
BTW: my site is working again! yay!
ok, the preview is online. check it out at http://tominatedsoftware.pxlart.net/rwt/deepsea
I like it as well - am gonna look under the hood to see how you did this, if you don't mind...
Nice job! Do you have any experience with wordpress themes?
i don't mind, as long as you don't make another theme from it.
BTW: there is a tutorial that teaches you how to make rapidweaver themes
nope, but i want to give wordpress themes a go (for my blog).
No, I don't want to be a copy cat rather I want to know how this works.
Your theme looks both cool enough and simple enough to understand. Yesterday evening I took a look to understand how those gradients are created, nice, just one line with the gradient color.
And no, I didn't know there is a tutorial on how to create RW themes (I only recently bought it via MacHeist and haven't found time yet to really use it).
Is the tutorial on the RW site or on another site ? I think I found one on the RWThemes website...
here is a link to the official tutorial. linkety
BTW: i'm cool if you are just checking it out. the rwtheme files are bundles, so you can see inside them
Nice color scheme, the layout could use work but your color choices and gradient work are pretty good.
FYI: i am starting a new theme called illuminous
