So remember me back in December when after a week my iMac died a week after recieving it? Took it to Apple store and they replaced the graphics card and a week later got it back.

Well this week when I got back from Australia there was an update message for my i7. So I let it do the 738MB update that included some other stuff other than the OS update. After it finished and the install was done the computer rebooted and an error message appeared. Turned off the computer and got the grey screen with Apple logo and spinning cog. Long story short after speaking to Apple Care and had to take to store. Did this and they think they have to replace the hard drive as it failed. Are you ******** me? This is now twice with a new iMAc, one iphone replacement and multiple replacements of the iphone and iPod headsets. I seem to have an Apple curse. This PC to Mac switcher is not happy!

I am sorry, but your experience is extraordinary. The vast majority of Apple product users have no problems.

I think some users emit a EM field which Apple products find unpalatable and it fries them. Further study is needed.

OS X 10.6.3 has unfortunately caused a lot issues with various Macs :(

I'm sure you would have been able to revive your Mac by reinstalling OS X but as you already took it to Apple Store and got it replaced, there is no need for it anymore.

I hope you will have no issues anymore

What you describe is what is happening to those who insist using Windows commands on a Mac ... :D
