My only problem with Leopard...

I can't connect to the Internet at my University and the IT guys don't know how to yet either. I know it's a stretch, but would anyone hear be able to help? It picks up the wireless, but under Tiger I had to connect via 802.1X or something like that. Now, I can't figure out what to do.
 
maybe a certificate is not installed or is not valid with leopard. id suggest compairing keychains with notebooks that do work.
