My only two 17" UMBP gripes.....so far

First off let me just say I love this laptop in almost every way......but......

1. USB Ports are too close together. You can't use all three at once unless you want to ream the ports.

2. My lid is just a hair too tight. Or the magnet is? It can pick the laptop up about 1/8th of an inch opening the thing, I have to hold the bottom. Once the lid is open I like the stiff lid.

That's really it. I wouldn't change anything else.......

I have #1 about my 15" as well. Can get annoying. For #2 I think it's either a tight magnet or it's supposed to be like that. I can't open my MacBook without holding it down at all and my MacBook Pro lifts up a tiny bit.
But nice to see you love it, just don't take it too far!

It depends on the component. Magnets mess up CRT screens and can mess with speakers.

in what way? they're made from silicon and aluminum, none of those are magnetic, and the hard drive is shielded.
