Any issue after installing this Gboard? Last time I install swift keyboard for my sister iPad Air 2 and later the iPad not stable and certain apps keep FC until I remove it.

No issues at all. But keep in mind that due to Apple and their "walled garden" when entering passwords the default Apple keyboard will open. But overall the Google keyboard in my opinion is lightyears better than the Apple keyboard.

That part I really don't like but no choice, at least it is working flawlessly, I find it stable and no issue. Thanks a lot. :) Google keyboard is my default keyboard already. :D

My 2nd review of iPhone 7 Plus after 3 months 20 days of usage.

What I like
  • Design & Build - Very solid and elegance.
  • Screen & Quality - Even though it is not SAMOLED but it is a very high quality great color reproduction LCD. The screen is very very very nice! The nicest I ever own for LCD which I said it is as good as Samsung SAMOLED display.
  • App Store - Every time when I think of something I want for, I sure can get it by searching on it. Nearly all the apps is very well build and the interface is solid and nice looking. Also the App Store is changing quality apps display every week with one free apps of the week. This never happen in Android and Android keep showing same or no quality apps in main page which make people feel like Playstore is less apps but actually it is not, just Google dunno how to promote apps like what Apple did.
  • Apps & Games - Some same apps in iOS is better build than in Android. As for gaming experience, iOS is far ahead, much smoother and certain apps is much nicer look.
  • Music - I really love Apple Music, no regret sign up and will continue the subscription. For Android user can just subscribe to Spotify which have same service and same price. In this part I find both is same win.
  • Camera - The camera is very awesome output with very fast focus.
  • Apps Interface - iOS interface is well done and you can't find any glitch on it, it is very well build, every part is well design, all icons & interface had a standard control in high quality, not like Android certain apps icon is very bad build and seems no control on it.
  • Gesture - Seems not much people talk on the gesture function in iOS, it is actually very well done where make you easier to go back or forward by swiping in nearly all apps. Swipe down to minimize the video or photo view in the apps. Also the double tab to go top is very useful. I give big thumbs on this small design gesture.
What I Dislike
  • Fingerprint - The worst fingerprint I ever use! Slightly dirt or wet will make it totally not functioning. Even though it recognition is very fast but this cannot handle when dirt or wet make it the worst fingerprint in mobile on earth!
  • Photos - The worst photo album I ever use, please don't improving those tag, not much people actually use it. The basic create album folder also don't have, all create folder is just simply a shortcut, very annoying everything still appear at Camera Roll.
  • Music - I like it but also dislike it, the stability on this apps is bad, it keep FC when you browse a lot of Apple Music to find new song. (still happen like this even on latest iOS).
  • Stability - Certain apps can make the phone not ring when people calling, sometimes the sound became distortion when notification coming in during you listen to Music, certain apps sometimes the update unstop and keep update, the only way to stop it is remove the apps and re-install back, certain apps just FC after install or during the halfway usage and etc. Even though it is not much happening but it is there. I actually found Android is much more stable and less issue now, at least in my last few Android phones I don't find single issue or FC at all.
  • App Store- I love it but also hate it, why Apple restricted apps to be download if more than 300 MB by using Mobile Data (it mentioned 100 MB but actually is around 300 MB). This is very very stupid, I know the good point of restricted it but at least it shall let user enable it.
  • Apps Interface - Apple is well control on fragmentation and quality control but why they is still have apps not optimize for high resolution. Those apps shall be removed and forced developer update it.
  • Camera - the second camera boots up too much ISO and make the photo output very bad most the time. Also why still no wide mode. I know can use third party apps but I prefer original stock have it.
What I find it not that useful
  • Force Touch (the hardware) - This just make finger paint and use more energy, I don't see any different than using press and hold to activate the same function. This hardware is extremely unnecessary. (the function itself is great but the way to activate it is not).
  • Widget Page - This page I put there for fun and never use it, it is like kindergarten job when compare with Android widget which not only can make your home screen unique and nice but also functional to be home page.
What Stock App I don't use
  • Safari - The page scrolling is too slow. I prefer Chrome as it scroll fast not page by page.
  • Stock Keyboard - I no longer use type since 5 or 6 years ago. Is time implement swipe. Lucky got Gboard else I will be stuck in typing.
What I wish in future iOS update & next iPhone
  • Swipe function - This shall be an option in stock keyboard.
  • Themes - Is time to implement, at least let user theme the icon.
  • Edge to Edge - Is time use edge to edge display, reduce the top and bottom bezel.
  • No home button - I really hope the rumors is true, remove the home button and implement the Touch Bar.
  • Design - Is time to give iPhone a new look
What will be my next future mobile phone - Definitely the next iPhone. :D

All my current install apps & games in my iPhone 7 Plus. I think the most apps and games I ever install for mobile phone till date. :);)

Agree on Force Touch. Totally dumb and useless. What's even worse is that this feature alone is to blame for the phone being fatter and heavier than the 6 of the same size. Massive fail!

I use Force Touch 90% of the time to switch between apps (I'm a lefty so my thumb is right there on the left side making it even easier to activate). Also I use it for quickly checking my battery stats, toggling wifi/lte on and off, going to my Youtube subscription feed and a couple of more things. Force Touch is cool.

lol, fatter and heavier...

So, just so that we are all taking about the same thing: a 0.01 in. thickness difference is a "Massive fail!"?
haha!

Did you know those function no need that Force Touch, normal press and hold can trigger it and you won't feel the differences. It actually much easier to trigger it using press and hold than using pressure.

To be fair, press and hold won't do most of those things that were mentioned (there are longer ways to do most of those things, but they don't involve long press). Nor will long press or anything else other than 3D Touch will do things like controlling the cursor using the keyboard on an iPhone, or peek and pop abilities in various application.

Glad you are happy you made the change and enjoy your phone. Your comments on the Apple AirPods made me laugh. Have to agree, they are truly awful.

What about peek and pop?
The only possible cannot do is controlling cursor using keyboard, that function do useful.

That peek or pop is nah, I play for fun for showing my friends only, not really useful and it can be implement using another method like what Samsung did before in the galaxy series (I not means the S Pen one but using finger only).

In short, I just don't like using pressure to control it. Haha!

I am very enjoying. :)

My next new phone still will be iPhone. ;)

Well, I'm glad you're getting such a kick out of your thread...I guess.
lol

You know I got one superb iPhone fans friend, he told me how great how cool the Force Touch are when it start appear at 6s / 6s Plus but now he is the one told me actually it is just nice cosmetic effect to show off, he didn't using it often anymore.

None of my friends surrounding me that own iPhone find Force Touch is very useful and not really using it. ;)

The force touch function I only use sometimes is the during moving cursor at keyboard and the right function at WeChat - ScanQR Code.

Ok, I change the title to What I find it not that useful. Haha!

Well, it's fine not liking it or not using it, but various things can't really be done without it nonetheless.

720p display in 2016-2017 for a flagship premium device is hardly impressive or even 1080p for that matter considering the cost. From your initial review it sounded like you were justifying your purchase but later reality starts to kick in when you realize it's not all that hyped up to be.

Given the size of the device it's hardly anything bad. Could certainly be better, in particular from PPI side of things (on the smaller device), but far from anything really meaningfully bad.

There comes a point when having 1080p (plus) on a small device isn't really practical from a realistic usage perspective. It is no different than someone sitting 10 feet away from two tv's in front of them. One of the tv's is 720 rated and the other is 1080p rated. At that distance, the difference in pixel density between the two becomes readily apparent. Increase the viewing distances the differences become less visible and less meaningful.

In regards to the smartphones, the increased density (at this point in time) of the screen display is about marketing more than practicality. Manufacturers know that people like yourself (and many others here) focus on the latest tech specs and using those as a large part of the justification for purchase, rather than realizing that that new flashy display equates to sitting 10 feet or less in front of the big shiny t.v. screen.

While I agree with your statement, your comparison is backwards. Sitting farther from a TV would make the viewing experiences more similar, as the longer distance would make it harder to distinguish the lower resolution display. Sitting up close you would notice higher resolution displays. What is really a question here is whether or not a phone screen resolution increase is actually noticeable based on a typical person's viewing habits. Some people can actually notice a bump in resolution, and others just have the placebo effect; or are just using a much improved display technology.

I wouldn't classify myself as an Audiophile as I don't buy in to a lot of the BS that comes with that title - like the benefits of $1,000/ft oxygen free copper. I do notice nuances of amps/speaker combinations that others miss. I have to say thought, that I find the Bundle Headset as you call them and EarPods as Apple calls them to be quite good. The secret is putting them in your ear correctly as to close the air gap around the pod and the ear wall. If you don't, they do sound like crap (tinny). But I've had other in-ear headphones that did the same thing until you selected the correct rubber fitment if they supplied one your size. There's only so much you can do with such a small speaker.

Glad you are enjoying the iPhone! One thing that a lot of people strangely seem to let go is security. Non-Jailbreaked iOS is much safer than Android. That, and Apple supports older devices like no other OS/HW Manufacturer.
