Resolved My PowerMac G5, only two memory slots

Okey, mistery solved... they were partially hidden by CPU fan.

I think this was attempted and the results were that it did not work.

I'm pretty sure it is a technical limitation with the single processor model.

My SP 1.8 has 8 slots

The 1.8Ghz single with 8 memory slots has a different memory controller design that is more similar with the late-2005 G5's than the earlier G5's.
