My Proposal To The MacRumors Powers That Be

After reading a few posts in the Community section, I propose that the powers that be create a Rant and Rave section. The section could be treated in the same way as the religion/politics section does (posts don't count, certain number of posts required to post, etc). Just a thought. Any suggestions?

Rant 'n' Rave IS the religous/politics forums 😀

i would say the community forum fills this description just fine
 
If you moved all the Rants and Raves to their own forum, and all the car threads into another forum, the Community forum would be empty. 😛
 
I believe the Rant and Rave forum exists within the MacRumors.com discussion forums. Try reading some of the posts. 🙄
 
I thought the rant and rave section was every thread announcing the presence or absence of a new Apple product! 😱 😉 😱
 
The truly insane posts are relegated to another forum altogether, and even the worst of it doesn't get wastelanded. 😀

I wonder... is there a way to start a thread in the Wasteland? Couldn't you then feel 'guilt-free' ranting/raving or starting an outlandish thread? Hmm.
 
If you can start one in the Wasteland, it would save the mods the work of moving your threads there. 😛

Or what about every thread started after a mundane OSX update. "Installed it, and works great. I think Safari may even be faster than before!!" Bull****. 😛 Usually there are 10 pages of it. Quite disturbing.
