If you've got money to burn, check out Colorware (http://www.colorwarepc.com). They sell custom colour iPods, Macbooks, MBPs and iMacs, as well as offer a custom colour service for your own laptop covered by a warranty. They have a choice of 28 colours including Ferrari red or for a bit more you can mix your own colour.
remove all plastic pieces...sandblast or grind off coloring and repaint with model paint or car spraypaint...
or
remove all plastic pieces and simply paint over it with a bunch of layers of paint and a clear hard coat. taking care not to create too thick a surface where plastic parts meet and otherwise wouldnt fit...
I dont like colorware simply due to the fact that the keyboard doesn't match the color. I like how apple keyboards integrate nicely into the whole look, whereas most other companies have just realised now that matching the colors is a GOOD thing.
