My Rendition of Next Gen iPhone

I think if the iPhone is going to have a physical camera button, it should be higher than where it is located in the mock-up. It's an okay location if you are using the phone with your left hand and can use your ring finger to push the button, but if you are using your right hand it seems like it would be more difficult to use. Putting it opposite of the volume buttons would allow the left hand to use the index finger or the left hand to use the thumb to press it.
I think this is the best mock-up I've seen so far. I doubt the new iPhone will look very much like that but this is the best mock-up that its realism while listening to the rumors.
I still say that these mock ups, based on the new rumored iPhone bezel, are missing some key look or feature of the new iPhone. The "leaked" bezel does not wrap around the bottom of the iPhone.

So I guess the rest of the world makes no sense then? Video calls have been around for years.
Let's put it another way. Apple won't be the first to put video calling on a phone, obviously, once Apple does everyone will follow. Now video calling will not be the end-all-be-all way to communicate. Once Apple does finally release it, youll be wondering why you never had it before.
I've done video calls on cell phones before. Older models had pretty poor pictures, though they generally had crappy hardware too! Video calls are great, I wish my 1st gen had a front facing camera right now.

That looks really good. I hope black isn't the only color though! I really wanted a white 3G but never had enough reason to upgrade, was always waiting for the next one.
That is true. This is just a mock up of the new iphone according to the rumors, no matter how unlikely they are. I believe that they are in fact going to use the same chrome bezel for the new iPhone.
In other words, exactly the same? Same size, shape, button placement, and layout? Oh, except for the earpiece speaker, of course.
And yet, I'm afraid you may actually be correct. I hope you're not, though!
Nice renditions. First rendition looks like iPhone covered in black case, i.e. boring and hence why some people carry their iPhone naked. 2nd rendition looks more like what Apple will do.
i dont have a land line and most of the people i know, nowadays, do not either and use their "portable" phone as their primary phone. i walk and talk with my cell phone 25% of the time and the other 75% i am usually situated somewhere. i would love to be able to vid chat with an iPhone rather than my Macbook. of course, just like texting, it would cause stupid accidents by careless people
I'm still worried about the white matte... it would get dirty like the white keyboards do... especially with girls and makeup... =\ i always have makeup spots on my keyboard... at least a good wipe with a magic eraser gets it off.
i kinda like it, but i dont like the chrome bezel. especially on the camera in the front, change it to a matte black and ill spend 400$ on it
