Take it to Apple.. They replaced 2 of my friends iPhones last week for FREE after they both dropped them in the same hot tub.

Maximum rated temperature according to Apple is 113F or 45C. Don't go over that.

If I pulled my iPhone out of the washer dripping wet, I would immediately redunk it in deionized or distilled water for a few minutes, then wrap it with a paper towel and seal it in a bag of dried rice, preferably on a warm (40C) window sill, and not turn it on for a week.

If you can't wait a week, take it to the nearest Apple store and pay for a replacement.

My wife did this to my iPhone 4 about a month ago and it almost lead to a divorce.

I went the Apple Out of Warranty exchange program and they sent me out a brand new one (*or refurbed) in about a week. Check the price of the exchange in your local country - I think in the US its $199

I'm very happy with the replacement iPhone.

Now if YOUR iPhone is in YOUR laundry, isn't it YOUR responsibility to check these things before tendering your dirty laundry over? It shouldn't be your wife's responsibility to make sure your pockets are empty...

I'm just sayin'......

So is she hot or not? Can you answer the question? That's important in this situation.

Had the phone in a bag of rice for 4 days. All the water censors turned red Took it out this morning. Plug it in, placed the sim card in and IT WORKS!! Speaker phone lost some quality but it still works.

How about them apples?
