It shows the success of Steve Jobs in keeping an eye on things, or, at the very least, having good people around him to read things and say to him, you must reply to this reviewer, it'll be good PR.

Good story. :)

It's a very cool story, must have been one heck of an experience. Still got that Macbook with the note? :p

Great story and well told; it shows SJ in a very attractive light, and you must have been delighted to have received both the original note and the black note-book. Thanks for posting it, I enjoyed reading it. :)

Yeah, that Black MacBook and that note are gonna be worth a bundle on Antiques Roadshow in about 50 years. Great story!

Wonderful story.

I wish I had a story about meeting Steve or getting an email. Heck, I would have just liked to go to a keynote and see him from the back of the room.

Macworld 07 for me :D

Awesome story soulreaver!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who is envious. I wish I could have met Steve in person and shared a conversation or even just seeing him in person would have been enough. Unfortunately, it is too late now. :(
