I wrote a review on the iBook 12" posted on Notebook review and Steve Jobs happened to read and comment on it. Here's the link to my personal story with Steve: http://www.thegeeksoffice.com/?p=183

It shows the success of Steve Jobs in keeping an eye on things, or, at the very least, having good people around him to read things and say to him, you must reply to this reviewer, it'll be good PR.

    Good story. :)

That's pretty cool. I couldn't help notice the comment about one mouse button :)

I'd be pretty excited if I ever got a reply like that from anyone in his position.

You should keep that black MacBook and the note from Steve forever!

That's one of the longest emails I've read from him. Really neat story!

Its sounds a bit weird, but you could frame that note. I mean, its quite a big thing for an average fulla to get a personal note from Steve Jobs... Even more so now that hes passed away.

Great story and well told; it shows SJ in a very attractive light, and you must have been delighted to have received both the original note and the black note-book. Thanks for posting it, I enjoyed reading it. :)

Awesome story bro! But I'm here still wondering about the 1 button mouse! Did you ever figure that out from what Steve meant?

On the iBook review, I complained about the 1 button mouse.

Yeah, that Black MacBook and that note are gonna be worth a bundle on Antiques Roadshow in about 50 years. Great story!

    Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPod; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8J2 Safari/6533.18.5)

    Wonderful story.

I wish I had a story about meeting Steve or getting an email. Heck, I would have just liked to go to a keynote and see him from the back of the room.

    Awesome story soulreaver!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who is envious. I wish I could have met Steve in person and shared a conversation or even just seeing him in person would have been enough. Unfortunately, it is too late now. :(
