Today I put a CD into my iBook and it didn't work. The drive made a clicking noise for a little while, then a grinding humming noise, then clicking. This repeated 2-3 times and then it ejected the CD. I tried again...same result.

Is there anything I could do to fix it? If not, I will just take it to the Apple store tomorrow.

I took my iBook to an Apple store and they sent it to Apple. Messed up SuperDrive. 7-10 days blah blah blah. Now, is Apple usually good about things like this? For example, will I find handling scratches from when they had to take it apart or are they usually very careful?
