thank God the phone is here. Lol sorry for everyone who saw my posts.

Anyways, here’s my quick take on the iPhone X.

Pros:
1. It’s Sexy as hell. I mean damn do you not see it? It’s gotta be the best design ever hands down. It basically combined all the best features from previous generations. The glass back of iPhone 4, the steel edge of the gen 1 and premium feel of the chamfered 5 series, and the smooth curves of the 6. It’s a home run.
2. FaceID is the future. It worked seamlessly. I love it.

Cons:
1. Safari is freezing. This seems to be an iOS issue. I hate that when I surf, some site lags... noticeably on this site ironically.
2. The trueTune is subjective. Not feeling the yellow tint myself but I’ll play along for now. I’ll disable it when I get pissed enough.

Notch doesn’t bother me, and the bottom strip doesn’t bother me. The gestures are fluid and easy to learn. It becomes second nature quickly.

I think once iOS 11 pans out any remaining issues and developers continue to format applications for the iPhone X, it will only get better from here. Everything else seems really good.

It took me a few weeks to get used to using the face ID/home buton and kept finding myself pressing my thumb on the screen.

I love the new glass back look but my Apple leather case now covers it so I really don't get to appreciate it on a daily basis.

I still would like to see a more rounded glass edge which giving it a more infinite pool type look where it looks like the edge drops off into space. Right now the edge it very prominent and further accented by a case.

Sexy has hell, fo sho. The screen to phone ratio is the best thing to me though. The biggest con to me is the delicate as hell aspect of it. I suppose it comes with the territory on a freakin beautiful phone. Who knew iPhone users were so superficial?

Sorry, if you want those GlareBezelsTM you‘ll have to go to Samsung. Apple will never do a thing like that.

True Tone isn’t subjective, there are only people who got spoiled by the ultra cold displays manufactures keep using because it looks more exciting in the store.

Loving my X, too.

Only thing I could ask is Apple fix the app closing and get rid of the long press before closing.

Other than that I have zero regrets and I really like the 8+!

My frustrations (too strong a word, but...) are all interface-related. Things like those you mentioned could easily be solved by some iOS tweaks, I think. The hardware is amazing. The interface is not as persuasive to me, but maybe it's just a question of getting used to things.

I was no different than you and even returned by first X. It took the second time around to stick. The UI was a bit of a problem at first but after a few day it is comfortable. There are still some niggles but over all I still have to choice to switch but not going to do it!

For me the X has become a keeper.

I’m using my X as my daily driver, and while I intend to keep it, I also have my trusty 7 Plus by my side, kept on iOS 10.1.1, for everything else.

I heart both designs

Two returns - BTDT, glad I'm not the only one. 😉 I bought this X on Sunday so I've got until January 8th or something like that to make up my mind. I figure I will give it a good test. Right now ApplePay is the thing that's driving me a little crazy. Feels like it takes a lot longer than with TouchID. I will probably get better at it...

I love my X, best iPhone I have ever had. To me, it's pretty amazing that Apple took the home button, which we have used day in and day out for 10 years, and seamlessly replaced it with a gesture based UI that just feels so natural and smooth. Some people are all "still feels like the same iOS to me" when it comes to the X, which is pretty incredible when you think about it. Quite the risk for Apple and I think they nailed it.
