some quick points, a very nice experience @ Boca Raton, FL store:
1. Very nice apple staffer, no OCD behavior at all....would let me try on any thing I want. No stupid training question like "how does this band make you feel?"...LOL
2. The reason for going: how blue is the blue loop? Answer: it's fine, close enuf for me to dark blue.
3. Glad I got also the silver bracelet, liked it better than black link
4. A med loop band for my 178 wrist worked perfect.
5. The other loops ok, but not enuf for me to spring for another one.
6. The SS 42 mm looks fine on my wrist, not large at all, since I wear a g shock type, it's not too thick either.

Went to Aventura myself, similar experience. I have a 180mm wrist and the 42mm fit fine, medium leather loop... also really liked the sport band, but the weight of the sport is only a plus for active use at the gym, day-to-day I know I'll prefer the regular Apple watch. No sense of urgency or restriction from my Specialist, he was happy to show me all the options I wanted, and my wife too.

I think it's a great first generation, and I'm sure 5 generations from now I'll be blown away.

You've answered two of my most pressing questions! Thank you!

If you are a guy, the 42mm is the way to go. As many here have noted, the watches are smaller than they look in the photos. My wrist is 170mm and the 42mm was perfect. Been wearing an original Pebble and the 42mm is a little smaller.
