After the JB of 4.3.1 on my iPhone 4 the silent switch on the side isn't in-sync with vibration meaning I put my phone on silent and it doesn't do the vibration confirmation but I take it off silent and get a vibration confirmation for that. Any fixes?

It's probably confused because it thought that some places were "exit only."

It's a bug, and yes, the dev team is aware of it.

Now if only they gave the impression they were aware of the Bluetooth bug where connected devices no longer give a white icon in the menu bar...

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8G4 Safari/6533.18.5)

Lmao on all the answers! Have you checked Settings>sounds as yo can set Vibrate on/off from there for both Silent and non silent modes.

P.s. Sorry if this sounds stupid I'm on my first iPhone which I upgraded to 4.3.1 when I first got it.

Same issue here. I just ran redsn0w rc11 over again and it seems to be a little better but still not completely fixed.

Hah I thought it was just mine. Yeah i'm having the same issue. Hope it gets fixed in a newer build of redsn0w/pwnagetool

Time to get serious...
Your vibrator isn't confused. It's widespread. My iPhone vibrates when silent is switched OFF now, and switches from time to time. Of course some would prefer if it was on all the time.

Do you have vibrations turned off during silent mode? When I have vibrations turned off in silent mode, it only vibrates when I turn it off silent. If I have vibrations turned on in silent mode, it only vibrates when I switch it to silent.

In other words,
silent vibrations: on = phone vibrates when I switch to silent
silent vibrations: off = phone vibrates when I switch back to normal

Can anybody confirm or deny that the 4.3.2 update and subsequent Redsn0w release (RC14) fixes the 'confused vibrator' issue?
