What's the point of a small screenshot in the app switcher? It's not large enough to really see anything. I don't get what value it's providing.

Exactly. I removed that in Version 2 which is underneath the Version 1. I think having the screen shot is best for iPad, since iPad is closer to Mac screen size.

looks great but i dont think iOS7 will look like this as it doesn't has the flat and simple look

Inspired by OPs concept, my interpretation of the lock screen: (right click and open in new tab to view it at its original size)

• Swipe right from the edge of the display to unlock and get to the home screen.
• The album artwork is only visible when music is playing. If it's not, double tap the home button to show it (just like you would today). As you can see, the album artwork also gets smaller as you scroll up.
• Swiping left on notifications reveals some default options provided by the OS like 'delete' and 'postpone', as well as custom options chosen or provided by the app. (i.e.: The Redbox app's custom options would be: 'reserve' and 'directions'. Messages would be: 'quick reply' or 'reply' depending on settings.)
• Swiping the app icon on a notification to the right will open the app on its default state.

I don't know about the widgets and such, but I think the design elements are on the right track here. The OP's version has way too many gradients, drop shadows, and gloss compared with where iOS is today, let alone where they are apparently heading ("flat").

Also, I find something childish about the OP's version, whereas this feels more realistic to me.
